Fixture

Despite the first sharp cold conditions of winter weather, Ystalyfera and Brecon played an entertaining and high score fixture at the Breconshire capital. Both sides produced five Tries each, the home side finishing on top of the kicking competition. 'Fera Tries were all the first of the season for prop Sean Janes, coach and stalwart Andrew "Shenko" Jenkins at centre, flanker and Captain Ben Williams, Lock Ioan Jones and lastly substitute Daniel Williams. New signings Harri Olding and Craig Price gave admirable performances up front, Ryan James and Luc Caines gladly coming back from injuries. Everyone made a comendable big effort, the match being played at a fast pace. This was a good run out before our first League fixture versus Cardiff Met. away on the 13th November.
